Posted February 13, 2017. To be honest, the vanilla version has always included the DLC experience. At least with Shale or the other option (that I don't remember). Shale and Return to Ostagar are my favorites. The Warden Keep has a nice political event that will still have small references in the third game. Awakening - Golems - Witch-hunt. All these are done in order of when they take place. Dragon Age 2: Legacy is done at the start of Act 2 before Leandra dies. I like it because Carver comes back one more time before her death after joining the Wardens. Mark of the Assassin at the at start of Act 3. I prefer to save the DLC for the endgame. My only suggestion is that once you start What Pride Had Wrought, play straight through until the end of the game. The ending is better paced this way. Completing the DLC post-game also changes some dialogue a bit. There are a few bits that ackowledge Corypheus has already been defeated.

Script decrypt_dlc.bat just runs deda2drm.exe (which expect two arguments - DLC name and DLC key) for each DLC, so it's not needed to be ran separately without arguments. However, it tries to read installation path from the registry and expects HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BioWare\Dragon Age 2 key with value Path to be available.

They don't seem to add much aesthetically. starslight 12 years ago #3. The first item packs are definitely worth it. The second sets are definitely not, though the rogue pack has some good stuff if you're into the history of characters like Duncan, Maric, and Loghain. It's never going to stop.

Dragon Age II DLC Order. I'm replaying Dragon Age II, and I'm trying to find the best order for the DLC. Last time, I did Legacy around the end of Act I and did Mark of the Assassin around the end of Act II. Any suggestions?

7 Sebastian. Sebastian is the DLC companion for Dragon Age 2 and to be honest, he's actually one of the tamest ones in the game. He's apparently so pure that Varric resorted to calling Sebastian a "boy scout." Fitting enough, since Sebastian is a straight-laced individual with a conservative upbringing.
