The original Fallouts took more of a tribal/electronic theme. New Vegas is more like the kind of "western industrial" you might hear in Borderlands. 4 was sort of a generic, orchestral soundtrack, and maybe that's why it didn't stand out to me. You could transplant that into another game and it would still work.

The ones used in game are just audio ripped from the Vault Archives sampled in 192kbps 48000hz, while mine are in 128kbps 44100hz from the soundtrack CDs and sound more clearer and less fuzzy. The Vault Archives audio is in lower-quality than the soundtrack CDs.
