Adjust the bolts on your headlights starting with the bolt closest to the outside curve of your left-side guard. This bolt will adjust downward causing your headlight to lower. Adjust the bolt closest to the engine to move your headlight left to right. You'll need a star socket set for this step. Figure 1. Make sure you have the correct size tools.

Here is how you check your headlight aim: pull up to a wall and tape along top of the reflection above each headlight. Then pull your vehicle back 25’ – your beam should still be level with the tape on the wall. If you find that your beams are no longer level with the tape on the wall, then they are either pointed too high or too low.

Open the hood of the truck and turn your headlights on. Toyota locates the adjustments screws on the headlight housing. You will only be able to adjust the vertical trajectory as there isn't a horizontal adjustment screw in the Toyota Tundra. This is the Toyota Tundra, my other vehicles is what I am referring to.
If the beam height is not within the proper range, you must adjust it. First, loosen the screws that hold the headlight and then move it up or down as needed. 4. Once you’ve adjusted the beam height, tighten the screws and turn off the headlights. Recheck the beam height to make sure it’s within the proper range.
