Ford Year: 2017. UK/Ireland Location: Derbyshire. Posted January 18, 2022. Hi, my vehicle display screen that shows mileage and various info has stopped working. It started with intimitant coming on and off. It has now not come on for days. When it does come on the information is old and I can not select the different options. Any advice welcome.

My wife has an 09 plate Zetec spec fiesta, and the radio has just stopped working. The middle information display shows the radio as starting (Ford Audio message), but the radio, CD and Bluetooth all don't work, although the Bluetooth recognises the phone when you manually connect.
Looking in the service manual about "immobilizer malfunction" and found this snippet: SecuriLock®. The system is an engine immobilization system. It is designed to help prevent the engine from being started unless a coded key programmed to your vehicle is used. Using the wrong key may prevent the engine from starting.
Posted November 16, 2020. Sorry if its obvious, but so often overlooked. Have you tried a different cable, or device or both? A cable or device which may have worked on a pc for example, wouldn't necessarily work on a car circuit, if there is a fault with the cable or device. USB is notorious for being sensitive.
I'd even go further and disconnect the battery for 10 mins which will reset the audio unit and front controls/ screen also. Sometimes the audio units can mess the sync modules about but usually it's the sync modules that fail. I have disconnected the battery and left it for half an hour. Also took out the sync fuse and left it for half an hour
I have no mile diplayed on the dash and the speedo does not work. the car is a 02 ford fiesta 1.3 style mk6. I have changed the VSS and have tryed a second set of clocks (immobi will not let is start up with them fitted) but when you run the gauge test on both sets of clocks the rev and speedo needles only twitch. The touch screen doesn’t turn on at all: In this case, you will have to check out the power supply side of the touch screen, in most cases it will be a blown fuse, so verify the status of the fuse. The touch screen is frozen: In that circumstance, as we explained before, it’s likely a bug you’re going through, you’ll have to try to AhOd1.
