I'd even go further and disconnect the battery for 10 mins which will reset the audio unit and front controls/ screen also. Sometimes the audio units can mess the sync modules about but usually it's the sync modules that fail. I have disconnected the battery and left it for half an hour. Also took out the sync fuse and left it for half an hour
I have no mile diplayed on the dash and the speedo does not work. the car is a 02 ford fiesta 1.3 style mk6. I have changed the VSS and have tryed a second set of clocks (immobi will not let is start up with them fitted) but when you run the gauge test on both sets of clocks the rev and speedo needles only twitch.
