First you click away "Full screen mode" checkmark. Then click "Play" then go to "image" then click away "Keep Aspect Ratio" then close the window. Highlight "Full screen mode". And there you go! Works perfectly! Also you can make a Heroes 3 shortcut by pressing "Create HD.exe" incase you dont want to go into Heroes 3 settings all the time.

Or press F4 ingame. (you have to set the desktop to 65k colors before that, though). How do you set it to 65k? Right click on mouse,options,screen options,then change ur screen to 16-bit instead of current 32.Then open game press F4 and enjoy.
So my brother and I want to play Might and Magic 3 together, without using the hot seat game play. But most of the LAN solutions involve using Hamatchi or other things like that. Is there a way to make a LAN server? We are both running windows 8 and the game works without flaws. We just can't seem to get TCI/IP to work.
