I'm going to service my car in due course but am wondering if a 7 year old 1.2 is likely to need a gearbox oil change? Any particular time you should change the transmission oil? If it needs doing, how do I go about it on the 1.2? I can see guides and info for 1.6 and HGT but nowt on the 1.2
After I had to replace the turbo the gearbox didn't work anymore,my mechanic identified and replaced a sensor on the hidraulic valve unit, he replaced also the gearbox oil and the hidraulic unit oil. The gearbox was ok for some times , but when the temperatures dropped the car started to shake pretty hard when moving from a still in 1st gear
