That's what the Hyundai sales guy told me as well. He said there was an incompatibility between the in-house nav system and Apple/Google. So the trims with inhouse Nav will not work with wireless. You have to plug in and specifically select Android Auto to get Google maps to work on your dash.

First, open the radio and pick your station. Then go to the home screen of the infotainment and click on Car Play or Android auto which ever you use. You can then go to whatever map app you use and have the radio playing at the same time. If you press the media button to get to Carplay/Android auto then you'll stop the radio from playing. SebbyG.
We have the 2022 Tucson SEL with convenience + premium packages. It has wireless android auto and apple car play. Can also just tether and use either that way. It is nice when it works, frustrating when it does not. And it very frequently just "doesn't work" and requires iphone (12 with ios 14.6) reboot, car turned off, or both.
