What Sony has realized, is that exclusives have a shelf life on profitability of 2-3 years before a game has to be heavily discounted to sell. So for God of War on PC, Sony now gets another year or two of sales at a premium price for a tiny investment in a port, and potential new customers with those PC gamers who after playing God of War can't Going into this latest game in the series, I did have high hopes. All the early reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and fans have reacted with much the same since to the point where Game It still has superb action and plenty of jaw-dropping moments, but it supports them with a new level of depth and maturity. The third God of War had an incredible conclusion that sticks with me to this day. The 2018 release of God of War was okay in this department however the characters are very creative in design and easily engaging. Though the story around them is extremely safe and I hate to say formulaic.
