Okay im at the imperial campaing mission where you have to destroy about 8-10 ships AND a station and 4 turrets all the while solar storms are blazing across the battlefield. How are you supposed to win this? I have about 1.700 points in my 3 fleets combined, but im still unable to win this mission. How am I supposed to handle 8 ships coming at me at once?? Any help??
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II Tips: The Factions & Fleets. The Imperium of Man The Imperium fields your most well-balanced fleets and is a good faction to start out with. They are generally best Necrons also have nearly no ship options, with 2 escorts, 3 light crusiers, 1 crusier, 1 battle crusier and a battleship. (to be fair, one of the light crusiers is basically a full CR but with running silent stance.) Yeah, there's a reason no one talked about Necrons. Call to arms is an entirely useless mechanic. What it SHOULD do is halt all boarding actions entirely at the cost of engine speed and weapon reload. It's a useful mechanic for necrons (awakening warriors) because they can teleport into a gascloud before using it. for the rest it's just a big bullseye painted on their hulls. So I am 53 turns in and I'm really struggling to manage everything with only 4 fleets (the three starter ones and the second imperial one you get added later). The fleet markers to the right of the Renown button on the campaign map seem to indicate I can build and manage more fleets. EG the Imperial one says '2/4 Active fleet/Command Capacity'. But for the life of me I can't seem to find or be Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2. Unbeatable Ork fleet. 1 BC, 2 small rocks, 2 medium rocks, 2 onslaught. Upgrades for Zzaps and big red button cooldown. Abilities don't really matter, stasis and plasma bomb is always good though. Keep the rocks in one blob and just hurl them right at the enemy or chase him, if it's a fast faction. JeYB.
